Dr Hardeep Sahota

Hardeep graduated with honours from the University of Birmingham Dental School having received multiple prizes throughout the years spent there. This was followed by various hospital roles in maxillofacial, oral surgery and oral medicine. During this time, he was awarded with the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons. In addition, he has spent time as a clinical teacher of undergraduates at Birmingham Dental Hospital.

Subsequently, his interest and passion for Periodontology led him to complete a 3-year specialist training programme at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, London, where he graduated with distinction. Further to clinical practice, Hardeep has been involved in collaborative research projects linked to systemic health.

The overall goal of modern periodontal treatment is to achieve and then maintain acceptable gum health. In addition, periodontal plastic surgery has numerous cosmetic benefits with a prominent role in modern day dentistry. Applications are vast from covering exposed roots, repositioning the gum line and bone grafting procedures.

Outside of dentistry, Hardeep enjoys watching and playing football, travelling the world and spending time with his family and friends.
